"The Mothership ATL"
REIMAGINING THE FUTURE THROUGH ART, CULTURE, AND COLLECTIVE IMAGINATION

The Mothership ATL is an immersive art experience and cultural think tank designed to inspire communities to imagine—and build—a better future. Through interactive installations, storytelling, music, technology, and collaboration, The Mothership transforms art into a living conversation about where we’ve been, where we are, and where we’re going.
Created by world-renowned Atlanta artist Fabian “OccasionalSuperstar” Williams, The Mothership ATL is more than an art show—it is an evolving cultural experience designed to activate imagination and collective creativity. Inspired by decades of science fiction, music, media, and Black cultural innovation, the experience explores how entertainment has shaped society’s vision of the future while inviting communities to co-create a new one.
The three-story immersive installation journeys through the 1950s to the future, transforming each floor into a living world of music, visual storytelling, nostalgia, futurism, and collaboration. From retro-inspired environments to interactive future labs, The Mothership invites guests to move beyond passive consumption and become active participants in shaping culture.
At the heart of The Mothership ATL is a simple but powerful idea: the future should not be handed to us—we should help create it. The final level of the immersive experience transforms into an interactive future lab where young artists, students, community members, and visionaries are invited to contribute their own ideas, artwork, and perspectives on what tomorrow could look like. Inspired by Atlanta’s legacy of innovation, music, activism, and creative rebellion, The Mothership creates space for collective dreaming and bold cultural experimentation.
As the experience expands to future cities and communities, each activation will reflect the stories, creativity, and imagination of the people who shape it. Supporting The Mothership means investing in an evolving platform where art, culture, technology, and community collide to inspire the future.

The Mothership ATL brings together artists, educators, students, innovators, and cultural leaders to imagine new possibilities for the cities we live in.
Mothership was co-created by Fabian Williams, an Atlanta-based visual and performance artist whose work explores Black liberation, innovation, and joy, and whose murals and commissions have been featured in the New York Times, CNN, BBC, The Guardian, and beyond—and Sindy Guerrero-Williams, entrepreneur and founder of the legendary Dance 411 Studios, long known as Atlanta’s “studio of the stars.” Together, they envisioned Mothership not as a traditional exhibition, but as a transformative cultural destination built to deliver exactly what ATL needs.
