LORD HALIFAX ON THE NIGHT TRAIN TO HITLER'S HOUSE

Microhistory Nightmare Solo Piece

LORD HALIFAX ON THE NIGHT TRAIN TO HITLER’S HOUSE is a microhistory nightmare that uses elements of sketch comedy, folk mythology, dance theater, and lyric prose to tell the story of how one bumbling, people-pleasing introvert came to be the cabinet member in charge of negotiating with Hitler. Based on intensive research of British appeasement towards the Nazis between November 1937 and February 1938, NIGHT TRAIN explores ambition, shape-shifting and what makes someone betray themselves to the point of unrecognizable distortion to get ahead.

Supporting contributions to NIGHT TRAIN are tax deductible to the extent of the law.
